An intriguing Sicilian white made in the Appassimento style - something rarely found. During the wine-making process, grapes are gently dried, resulting in a wine with layers of complexity and a completely unique style.

Ripe, open nose with white peach, apricots and hints of jasmine flowers, texture and generosity from the old bush vine Chenin, veiled with white spice and exotic notes from the younger grenache, the whole ultimately finishing rich, yet fresh and textural. Cold Fact is the album from singer-songwriter Sixto Rodriguez, who became a cultural phenomenon in South Africa and was made internationally famous in the film "Searching for Sugar Man" It is also a play on the cold soak technique we use to extract flavour from the skins of our ripest Sauvignon Blanc grapes (we search for sugar man) which are then chilled and left for hours or even overnight on the skins, with the process helping to extract the intense flavours associated with this highly aromatic grape variety. This unoaked wine exudes aromatics of blackcurrant leaf & ripe Cape fig balanced by a complex fruit structure and sweet Provencal herbs on the finish.

Fresh, lively and dry, Zero Assoluto is a wine for enthusiasts and connoisseurs; a “Brut nature” with zero residual sugar. In 1988, a Rioja winemaker found a bunch of white grapes amongst the Tempranillo vines in his Murillo de Rio Leza estate in Rioja Baja. After several years of investigation, it was accepted that this was a natural mutation of the usually red tempranillo. (Limited Edition) This wine has a special and unique character, displaying intense tropical fruit aromas of banana, apple and citrus punctuated with white floral notes. It has a round mouthfeel with notes of orange and stonefruit characteristics as well as a lovely volume and freshness on the palate.
