Corvina Wine

Rich aromas of ripe black cherry and plum, with dried fruit characters and a touch of toasty spice. Ripe plum on the palate with a hint of vanilla and pepper, supple tannins. A classic yet approachable style of Amarone. Great with rich pasta dishes, grilled and roasted red meats and game.

Produced from Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes harvested from the hillside north of Verona. "Appassimento" refers to the process by which the grapes are dried for a few months before being pressed and vinified, in this case 30 days before vinification. Bright berry and black cherry aromas and a touch of spice. The palate has all of Valpolicella's appealing fresh cherry and ripe bramble fruit, with the weight and complexity of Appassimento wines.
