The hand-picked grapes are sourced from delected vineyards in the Douro Valley, where old vines are planted in schist soil in the " patamares" system. Earthy blackberry, hints of warm vanilla spice on the nose with ripe plummy fruit on the palate and a characterful finish. Delicious with lamb or firm mature cheeses.
