In the hills surrounding the Cairanne winery, they naturally tend plots of Southern Rhone varieties: old vine Syrah (for finesse), Mourvedre (for a touch of spice) and low-yielding Carignan Noir (for balancing freshness), to blend with ripe black fruit from the Grenache Noir, found on sought-after argilo-calcaire (limestone pebbles over clay)
Rich and intense with morello cherry and a touch of cinnamon spice on the nose. Full flavoured and smooth, a rich satisfying mouthful.
