They deliver the very best expression of their individual style. They are benchmark. The Cigar is named after the unique cigar-shaped strip of rich red terra rossa soil found only in the Coonawarra. The Yalumba Menzies estate vineyards truly reflects the reputation of the Coonawarra Cabernet. Full-bodied and structured. Harvest Date: 20th March to 9th April 2018. Time in oak: 19 months. Cellaring: 10+ years.

A refreshing dry white wine with lively citrus fruit characters and crisp acidity. Perfect on its own or as an ideal accompaniment to chicken, seafood and summer salads.

Bright and deep ruby. The Nose is loaded and dense perfume of cassis, liquorice and strawberry sorbet is deepened by ocean scents of dried shells and crayfish bisque. Ironstone rock brings earthy notes which give way to dried rose petal and vanilla butter intrigue. The palate is intense, tight, lengthy and exciting. A fresh and succulent entry pulls inward with firm, linear tannins driving the flavours long.

Each vintage of the Signature is named in honour of an individual who has made a significant contribution to the culture and traditions of Yalumba. This one is dedicated to Louisa Rose, Yalumba Chief Wine maker at Yalumba since 1991. Since 1962, the finest red wine of the vintage has been hand selected and matured in our cellars in Angaston as "The Signature". This wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz from premium Barossa vineyards and befits the quality Yalumba tradition forged over 47 vintage releases. 21 months maturation in French, Hungarian and American oak barrels crafted at the Yalumba cooperage has contributed to a wine with structure, elegance and longevity.
