Olive groves (oliviers) and vines flourish in the sun-drenched Mediterranean summers of southern France, where we have selected two separate plots of Merlot and Mourvedre grapes to produce this luscious fruity red wine. A wine of real presence and character, vivid vinous aromas of ripe red fruits combine with a wild edge of the real French countryside, the palate is supple and lithe, the deep smooth tannins wholly integrated to form a rich satisfying finish. Brightly perfumed fruit, a hint of lavender, then classic Merlot flavours:  ripe red summer berries, plums and damsons.  Mourvedre shows its grip with warm spice and a green, herby edge on the finish.  An easy drinking red that's fantastic both with or without food.
